+36 1 476 3476On the 16th of July, MÁV-REC Ltd and ZÁHONY-PORT held a consortium meeting in Záhony.
Mr. Norbert Bóta Managing Director of MÁV-REC Ltd summed up that the whole project can be divided into three main parts. The first part is the existence of a commodity base, which is the basis for the future utilization and success of the whole development. The second is the modernization of the Záhony-Port transhipment area, the introduction of new technologies and the development of processes. The third is the development of industrial parks in Záhony area.
The two parties agreed, that the information exchange between the members of the consortium should be continuous and they will support each other’s work. Záhony is a very complex area with many factors, so the success of the project requires close cooperation on both sides.
